Flood Relief Appeal 2011

Dear Friends,

I am writing to you to request your zakat and generous donations. In keeping with our mission of providing emergency support, the zakat and cash and in-kind donations this year will cover provision of immediate relief to the flood affected people in District Badin. Our target this year of Rs three million, will help us in providing:

• Clean drinking water and food ration to 15,000 families in Union Council Seerani, Luari Sharif and Kadi Kazia, coastal areas in District Badin

Following food items are requested, preferably in a basket or a package (to be given one per family, as ration supplies for 30 days)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Your donations will also be used for providing clean drinking water and safe sanitation facilities to poor schools across Karachi and rural areas in Sindh.
Your generous zakat and donations over the years have enabled Hisaar Foundation to reach out to flood victims across Pakistan in all four provinces, earthquake victims in Azad Kashmir and Khyber Pahktoonkhwah, the internally displaced persons of Swat, and poor men, women and children throughout Pakistan. We continue to provide emergency relief, water, food and livelihood support to the people of Pakistan through your generous philanthropic support and through our programmes.

Donations by cash or cheque from within Pakistan:

 Crossed cheques made out to Hisaar Foundation and cash donations may be dropped off at or mailed to our office, D-66/1, First Floor, Block 4, Scheme 5, Clifton 75600, Karachi. Monday through Saturday, 8 am to 3 pm. Please remember to collect a receipt for your donation.
