Flood Relief Appeal 2011
Hisaar Foundation actively engaged in providing emergency support and immediate clean and safe drinking water and food ration relief to flood victims across Districts Badin, Umerkot, Tharparkar and Mirpurkhas, in Sindh during and after the floods of August 2011. Through the generous support of Federation Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), United Bank Limited (UBL), Adamjee Foundation, Association for the Ill and Deprived (an association of medical students of Ziauddin Hospital), Society for Human and Environment Development (SHADE), Karachi and Association of Pakistani Physicians of Kentucky and Indiana (APPKI), USA, students, individual national and international philanthropists, the Foundation raised over Rs 8.2 million worth of donations in cash and in-kind. 
The relief goods were distributed in collaboration with our implementing partners Thardeep Rural Development Programme (TRDP) and Badin Rural Development Society (BRDS) as under:

In addition, the Foundation, through its UBL supported Project AAB, also installed one 3000 gallon capacity per day water filtration plant in District Badin, as a long-term solution for clean and safe drinking water.
In the final phase of its Relief Campaign, Hisaar Foundation is in the process of installing 12 EDGE M-100 Water Chlorinators, for provision of safe and clean drinking water in the flood affected Districts. For pics click here

Flood Relief Appeal 2010
Hisaar Foundation actively participated in relief and rehabilitation after the devastating 2010 floods in Pakistan. Hisaar Foundation raised over Rs 8.2 million worth of donations in kind and in cash.  Relief goods were distributed and services delivered to victims in Nowshera, Charsadda, in Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa, Jamshoro, Sehwan, Dadu, Thatta, Karachi in Sindh, Layyah in Punjab and Jafferabad in Balochistan as under:

Hisaar Foundation (HF) also worked closely with the government of Sindh to design interventions for maintenance and rehabilitation phases. Under these interventions 30 water filtration plants were made and installed by Hisaar Foundation's partner organization Community Advisory and Welfare Services (CAWS). These plants worth approximately Rs 10,500,000 were part of the concept of Total Water Solution developed by Hisaar Foundation.

Relief Appeal for Swat Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) 2010
This appeal raised Rs 0.65 million for Swat IDPs, to provide clean and safe drinking water, toilets for women and children, cooking facilities (including stoves and fuel), vitamins, supplements, medicines and first aid suppliesand sanitary supplies for women. The delivery was in collaboration with National Rural Support Programme.

Earthquake Relief and Emergency Support (Balochistan) 2008
Immediate relief focused on food, health and hygiene for women and children. Winterized sleeping bags and milk were distributed in a second phase. The total value of the funds raised was Rs 2.9 million and Aurat Foundation collaborated with the distribution.

Cyclone Relief and Emergency Support (Sindh) 2007
Relief was provided to 18 villages in the UC Gabo Phat, coastal belt of Karachi. In phase two of the programme, 40 houses were rebuilt in the area in collaboration with Indus Earth Trust as a sustainable solution to proper housing in rural areas.

Campaign for Earthquake Relief and Rehabilitation 2005
Hisaar Foundation embarked on a major relief and rehabilitation operation for earthquake victims in northernPakistan and Azad Kashmir (November 2005 to end of 2008), focusing particularly on the needs of women and children. This included rebuilding of houses, warm clothes, food, household goods, blankets and bedding, as well as medical and sanitation supplies and water systems. The value of support was Rs 24 million and delivered in
collaboration with National Rural Support Programme. For pics click here

Citizens Appeal for Afghan Refugees (Balochistan) 2001
Through this appeal relief was provided to over 2000 families in camps at Latifabad and other areas in Balochistan. The relief operation was worth Rs 10 million and included food supplies, shelter, water systems, warm clothes and medicines.

Pakistan Drought Appeal 2000
Through this appeal a total of 6,393 families were provided with over Rs 10 million worth of food, water, clothes and medicines in drought affected Thar area, District Dadu in Sindh and Chaghi region in Balochistan.
